I Believe God

Hebrews 11:6 “And without faith, it is impossible to please God, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who diligently seek him.” 

When we seek God with open hearts, we’re embracing a journey that requires vulnerability. It’s like stepping into the unknown, and letting go of our need to control every step. Sometimes you feel uncertainty and are unsure about your journey, but the beauty is in knowing that God rewards those who earnestly seek Him.

It’s okay to have doubts along the way. Faith isn’t a straight path; it’s filled with twists, turns, and beautiful surprises. As we navigate our individual journeys, let’s encourage each other to draw closer to God, share our struggles, and celebrate our victories.

Faith isn’t always easy. We live in a world that often screams for tangible proof, where we want certainty and control. But that’s not what faith is about. It’s about trusting in the unseen and believing that God is at work, even when we can’t see the entire picture.
Think of it like this: how many times have you taken a leap of faith in your life? Maybe it was a new job, a relationship, or even a move to a new place. Those moments can feel scary and uncertain, but they often lead us to places of growth and deeper connection with ourselves and God. That’s what this verse is getting at—the belief that there’s something greater out there waiting for us on the other side of our fears.

The second half of the verse really hits home too: He rewards those who seek Him. This isn’t about a transaction; it’s about the depth of the relationship we build with Him when we engage with our faith actively. Seeking God means leaning into His word, praying, and finding community in faith. It’s about building that intimate connection where we can lean on Him during our tough times. When we actively seek, we begin to notice the blessings and guidance He pours into our lives.

So, let’s challenge ourselves to reflect on our faith this week. Are we leaning into those moments of uncertainty with belief? Are we actively seeking out God in our everyday lives? It’s a journey, but together, as a community, we can encourage and support each other in our walks of faith. Let’s embrace the uncertainty and keep pushing forward, trusting that God is with us every step of the way.
